Hello, World!

If we didn’t meet yet: Hi, I am Afri! You can learn more about how I started my art journey in My Story page. I lived my entire life in Spain but I am currently living and working in the Greater Geneva area. I am a proud mom of an amazingly sweet and gentle greyhound named Kenzo.

I wanted to open this blog for a very long time but I kept postponing it because I thought I had to give priority to other projects I am working on. However, many times I find myself willing to share more about the discoveries I make in my art journey, some cool art supplies or books I discovered, the other side of the projects I am working on, etc.

And that is why I decided to open it as soon as possible! :) (And to challenge a little bit the inner perfectionist in me that needs to know everything and every little detail before doing it )

I deeply believe sharing is caring and I learn everyday so much from other artists sharing their experiences online, I also want to make my very own personal contribution. Moreover, when I was studying, I always needed to write things out in order to really process them, to let them sink in my brain as I am a quite forgetful person so I imagined writing a blog could really help me with this as well.
